MARC SIGNS W SONY IMPRINT BENT RIVER RECORDS
Veteran producer/engineer JoeBaby Michaels (Rolling Stones, James Brown, Lynyrd Skynyrd) has has picked up Marc's new album Shining Like A Diamond for his Orchard-distributed Bent River Records. The lead single "The Truth (Is What I Wanna Know)" drops worldwide on Oct. 13th. In the 2023 OffBeat JazzFest Bible, Brett Milano says of the album "his latest shows how many ways there are to make a hip, modern blues record without relying on the obvious guitar-slinging thing...these songs are worth the care they get."

AMC TV PICK'S UP MARC'S ORIGINAL "The Truth (Is What I Wanna Know)" feat. New Soul Finders! w Marilyn Barbarin for new series "Parish", premiering this fall.

 

MARC CAPS FEST SEASON WITH HEADLINING SLOT AT MARSHALL BLUES FESTIVAL

On Saturday June 24 Marc Stone performed to an estimated 10,000 people to close out the 18th Marshall Blues Festival in Marshall, MI. Marc hit the stage solo for two tunes before being joined by Keiko Komaki and Terry Scott, Jr. for a blazing two hour show. Starting as the sun went down, the set traversed rootsy, funk-driven originals, psychedelic byways, deep Blues, New Orleans classics and a few choice covers, keeping the crowd groovin' til long after dark.
