Through his celebrated weekly Soul Serenade program on WWOZ 90.7-fm, New Orleans, his epic record collection and deep knowledge of all that grooves are well known to listeners world wide. After over a decade on the air, and a lifetime as a performer, he decided to take his rare vinyl and deft selections to the stage. Since then he has performed as a DJ at festivals, clubs and private events. His home base is funky, hip-shakin American Roots music from Soul and Funk to Jazz to RnB, and everything New Orleans, but he collects and spins all styles from Rock to Classical, Latin to Hip Hop. His penchant for mixing it up on the radio is well known, and he gets to go even further and deeper with his live DJ sets.
